What exactly does it mean when the maverick but brilliant doctor in a TV medical drama demands the patient be sent for an urgent “CT scan”?

We will welcome Dr Elizabeth Evans as our guest speaker for April 2023 and we are grateful to Elizabeth for stepping in at short notice.

Starting with a quick bit of background and theory of the familiar medical procedure best known as a CAT scan, Dr Elizabeth Evans from NXCT will take us on a tour into the sublime, the spooky and the stunning of the natural world and beyond through the medium of 3D X-ray scans.
